Chair Process Log

I drew a chair and worked on it for three days, two hours each day.

Day 1:

I got the layout of the chair mostly done however the backside of the chair was probably the hardest thing to draw for the piece.

Day 2:

The struggle becomes real here, the back still did not feel right and the angle of the curves on the chair are exaggerated. At this point I was shown how to properly measure with the string technique which helped with the angles and proportions of the piece.

Day 3:

Final day working on the chair, finally got the backside to work however I feel that the angles of the curves could still be fixed. But overall I am okay with the final look.
